Greetings friends,  

You are invited to my drink and vote gathering.  
We’ll meet at _____ on __ to drink, and vote!
I will provide information about measures and candidates,
and a forum for thinking through the ballot together.
We’ll grab a beverage or two, discuss what’s on the ballot,
and share insights on why we want to support or oppose different measures.  

RSVP yes/no/maybe to me by responding to this email,
and be sure to bring your ballot with you on X date.

Hello Compatriots!

Its that time again, time we put pen to ballot and carry on a tradition of representative democracy and deciding how we want to change the laws of our city, county, and state.

To that end I want you to bring your ballot to my Drink and Vote event on _at___. I will have gathered up some information on the measures and candidates, and pulled together some of the endorsements.

We can get hopped up on some caffeine, sugar, or booze and share our thoughts and feelings about this election and maybe to the state of democracy.

Let me know if you can make it or if you might might make it and don't forget you ballot, we will be voting this night!
